Paul Desmond’s sketchbooks
I was just enjoying looking at Paul’s ‘moleskines’. I’d like to say I like his style but that would be to underrate him terribly. I was lucky enough to work with him at Landor way back and I can say for sure he has no style, and every style. A ‘renaissance man’, damn him.
Thia map makes me want to paint, right now.

Fred Lebain’s New York photographs. Apparently he takes a shot on the first visit, prints it up large and positions himself (see fingers!) in a new shot.

Flight of fancy…
Envisioning information, in this case US flight patterns, created by Aaron Koblin using Flightview’s flight tracking information. The result is informative and graphically interesting.
From Wired magazine, if you click throught to the article you can toggle the view between altitudes of flight, model and make.
